The Annual Blue and Gold Banquet will be held on February 27 at the Casablanca Room on Campbell Barracks. Setup at 1530, Event begins 1700. Our theme this year is "Happy Birthday B.S.A" and we have a lot to celebrate. This year Scouting turns 100 years old. It has been one hundred years since Lord Baden Powell started Boy Scouts, but the ideals and leadership and fun has never changed. Show your spirit and celebrate at Cub Scout's annual birthday, the Blue and Gold.
Since the scouts will be receiving their rank advancement, we request the scouts dress in full Scouting uniform.
The Blue and Gold is an annual Birthday Celebration for the Cub Scouts and is Pack 284's opportunity to award all of the ranks that the Scouts have been working so hard on. The event will be a catered event this year so all that you will have to bring is the prize-winning cake.
The dens are challenged to decorate their tables for the den and their families and a prize will be awarded to the den with the best decorations. We will also be awarding a prize to the best uniform presentation by our scouts.
We look forward to everyone's participation and we will all have a great time.
